There is a lot of Lokis, more than anyone else as Mobius said, because besides being a survivor, Loki is the character who most tries to change, but as they said, every time a Loki tries to change the TVA shows up to prune them and set their timeline back to the "villainous" Loki. I love the MCU, but their biggest mistake was letting Jonathan go, I was excited for the Kang dynasty and I cannot see anyone else playing Kang the Conqueror!

In Ragnarok our Thor tells a story to Bruce and Valkyrie about him and Loki as children and a time when Loki “tried to kill him” “…This one time when we were children he transformed himself into a snake. And he knows that I love snakes. So I went to pick up the snake to admire it, and he transformed back into himself and he says “MYAH it’s me”. And then he stabbed me. We were 8 at the time.” The theory is that in Kid Loki’s timeline his Thor died from this prank stabbing.

2024-04-19 16:21:41 +0000 UTCRIP Classic Loki 😔 Went out like a true god! Also, we saw in Ragnarok that prime Loki was able to access and make people recall/relive their memories by touching them. We see him do this to Valkyrie when they are having a hand to hand fight. He grabs her head and says “must be a painful memory…” and we see her memory of Hela killing all the other Valkyries and her friend jumping in front of her to save her. So, yes, as Loki ages, and uses his magic more the stronger it becomes and the more abilities he is able to access, like telekinesis and enchantment.

What I really enjoy about him as a main villain, is that he has already won! He has figured out a way to control time on a multiversal level. I love his last line of “See you soon” with the wink and a smile, because he knows how this will end, because from his perspective it has all already happened! How do beat someone that has already won?!?!? One of my favorite quotes from a work of fiction is from the 1953 Disney animated movie version of Peter Pan, the opening line of dialogue is “All this has happened before, and it will all happen again…” It is my favorite way to view life and time, as a constant cycle, birth, life, death and rebirth. So fitting for the current MCU saga. This finale was so good, I love how except the small fight between Sylvie & Loki, we just had people sitting and talking almost the whole time. Even throughout the show, the majority was just conversations, usually just a couple of people sitting in a room talking and pondering the meaning of it all, but the execution and writing was so awesome, that it all worked. Not to mention the amazing chemistry between the actors. Especially, Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, of course Tom Hiddleston and Sophia DeMartino (Sylvie) had some good chemistry as well. I think Tom is just one of those actors that you can pair with anyone and he just clicks. He has such natural talent and charisma that he just meshes with everyone! Tom also has so much love for this character, you can feel his commitment and enthusiasm in interviews. He is the first of the MCU actors to take a producer role and it shows. He really took charge with Loki and made sure to do right by him in his first solo outing. Top marks all around!!! This was a blast to revisit with you guys, so much more good stuff on the horizon!!!

2024-04-16 21:16:25 +0000 UTCI did no more than those who wanted them to, rightfully, see XMen before WV. You dropped a major plot point that they could have found on their own shortly. Two of my favorite MCU shows are completely outside the main story line, Moon Knight and Werewolf By Night. But as much as I'd like to ask them to do them sooner rather than later, it is better to have them view all of it the way it was released. Let's not bicker, I understand your enthusiasm to see Loki 2, but they are just a month or two away at the rate they are going, and there is some really good stuff in between. But you aren't alone, seems others are just too pumped about what's coming to stay quiet about it. And BTW, with certain things in the real world affecting future offerings, we don't know if they will even pursue the original plan, so why even talk about it? It's just speculation at this point.

I also wish you would stop trying to get them to jump around the releases because you like this story line so much. Just be patient and let them see it the way we all did, it is what they already committed to do. I think most of us would like them to continue in the original release order. They just got to squeeze in the first season of Daredevil before Hawkeye, so they understand that part of the MCU that will pop up several times in upcomimg shows and movies.

Hawkeye series is amazingly fun. Probably the most "fun" with great chemistry and story telling.

There is still a lot of setup to come--introducing new characters and new concepts--but with marvel you know it all pays off. You'll have the big overarching multiverse story, the street level stories, the space stories, and the supernatural being introduced too!

2024-04-15 20:00:52 +0000 UTCAs to how to view the MCU, look at it this way, if you skipped Ant Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, just watching Endgame after Infinity War, things about EG would be confusing in certain parts. I would stick to the release order and insert Daredevil season 1 before Hawkeye. It will take a month or two to get to Loki 2, but at least you don't have to wait as long as those who watched it the way it was released. Not to mention there is some really good stuff coming up, and at the end of the day y'all will be properly entertained.

An Endgame type of event. At the moment, nothing really seems connected (phase 4 and 5 are introducing new characters right now. ) It's interesting to see where they are going with all this. It's exciting!

If I were there, I would’ve been like Michael Buffer and yell “LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!” When Analyst Loki saw his President variant being betrayed by his army, he had that look on his face that said, "God, I'm so immature." He also looked annoyed when his Boastful variant yelled glorious purpose during the fight. Now he knows for sure he’d rather stand out of the crowd. To help you understand why this is a big deal, He Who Remains' real name is Nathaniel Richards. In the comics, Nathaniel is better known as Kang the Conqueror. They’re setting him up to be the MCU’s next big bad since Thanos. If you wanna dive into Loki season 2 already, all you have to do is watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
