“Government run things are never good, they move slow etc” There’s a reason for that. Change can happen fast for bad things(it does all the time.) They will make laws to ban things for ordinary people quick. They will make laws & give billions quickly to bomb other countries. Those in charge don’t want the good change for everyday people because they profit from the status as it is(rich on top everyone else on bottom.) It’s not about government it’s those who are running it. As for shae, she did care for Tyrion but she’s human and was hurt by him trying to send her away(especially the way he did it, he told her she was a whore to make her mad and think it would force her to leave.) Hurt people hurt people.

2024-03-12 20:16:41 +0000 UTCI believe in the books Stannis hired the Stormcrows after securing the Iron Bank loan in Braavos. Davos tried to talk him into hiring mercenaries and he did with hesitation. He said "Sellswords are only loyal to gold." If you remember back when Dany first met Darrio Naharis, he was accompanied by 2 co-commanders. Second Sons and Stormcrows were hired to protect Yunkai from Dany. Daario beheaded those 2 men and took the Second Sons to fight for Dany. (In the show the Stormcrows were merged with the Second Sons plotline.) Great reaction and Please always give your honest opinions....forget those who bail on you...be true to yourself. I enjoy it when you're weaving through the plotline trying to figure it out. We all do that....you just do it in front of all of us! Also, Season 5 is amazing and it's the catalyst to everything in Season 6. Get ready here we go! I can't wait! Thanks so much!!

2024-03-12 18:24:15 +0000 UTCYou really felt scared for Janos Slynt dying? He was killing babies in king's landing on the orders from Sweet Joffrey and got kicked off to the wall by Tyrion 😂. He is the one who turned against Ned for Cersei which led to Ned's imprisonment. Also Daenerys didn't want them to bow to her after freeing them. She set up a government to run these liberated cities but as soon as she left those places, some people started taking advantage over the situation. That's when she decided to stay back and rule instead of going to Westeros. I guess her plan is to set up a proper government before she leaves. But unfortunately it's not going so well. I really like Tywin's character. A fantastic politician. Will miss him.

Sure you can make a valid argument for other groundbreaking TV-shows like The Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos, 24, and a few other great ones, but alomost everyone agrees that GoT season 1-4 ranks right up there with the others, if not some distance above them. It's been a trip to watch it with you guys, and through you, reconnect with how I felt when I first saw these sublime seasons of television, and following these wonderful characters. It's been a journey!

We don't really know where he got so many men together, or so many horses (Davos is shown to recruit only Salladhor Saan, a pirate). Just clearing that up

All I'll say is, alot of events in s5 are the catalysts for the things that ppl love soo much in s6. I think that's where my weird appreciation for s5 comes in. Anyways, keep up the amazing work 🤩🤩

She didn't wield any power or seek to wield power. But she really believed him when he said that he didn't love her anymore, that she wasn't worthy. That's why she testified against him. Because she was hurt and betrayed. She was obviously stopped from leaving or pulled off the ship that Bronn put her on - and was given something for testifying against Tyrion. And Tywin just used her - and she found further protection. Sleeping with Tywin didn't give her an position or power either. So, she wasn't doing any of it for those things.

Ya'll are awesome with identifying themes, it's refreshing from others who don't really pick up what GRRM is really tryna put down. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😊 Eta tho: The fireballs didn't come out of their hand, they were handmade explosives.
