2024-02-17 00:50:12 +0000 UTCI've watched the first few episodes of Breaking Bad. I can give it another watch....there's so many people who say it's great so that has to merit value. I recently watched Reacher with my husband and it was great. I also love Stranger Things, Yellowjackets, The Boys/Gen V, and all of the Mike Flanagan Netflix shows. I could probably name a hundred shows I've watched in the past year...I just watched them slower and a few episodes at at time. GOT is just on daily in my house, whether I'm watching it or just listening to it. I'm always open to new shows....I'm sure eventually I won't watch it as much as I do now. Right now, GOT makes me happy and I'm ok with that. I'm honestly not sure what grabbed me about it. It's not in my normal genre of television shows.

My husband likes GOT but not as much as I do so at night we watch other shows a couple of episodes at a time. If there's any other productions you want to recommend I'm up for trying to dethrone GOT as my favorite?

I love the show Supernatural (I've seen it over 200 times all the way through) but I wanted a break from watching it over and over. Just trying to find something different, Lol. I didn't really think GOT would interest me but in the first episode when the wight girl with blue eyes showed up I was in! I have it playing constantly and I've watched dozens of reactions. I've forced all my family members to watch it too...haha.

2024-02-15 23:52:23 +0000 UTCI just watched GOT for the 1st time about 6 months ago and I've watched it daily ever since. Maybe 20-25 times completely through. I even go to sleep with it playing. Obsessed! As far as Joffrey's death....well I actually think he deserved worse. Tyrion is one of my absolute favorite characters and though he's not perfect....he is nothing like the rest of the Lannisters. I get so angry when people ridicule, bully and abuse him for being different. Joffrey was so cruel to him at the wedding and I can't even imagine what he would do to Sansa in the future had he not died! I will say this, anytime a mother loses a child it's heartbreaking and I felt for Cersi in this scene. Cersi does love her children. Lena Headey (actress who plays Cersi) did/does an amazing job through this episode and series. It was an absolute shocking event...the question is....Where do we go from here? What could possibly be next? It's going to be awesome watching you find out! Thanks guys! Great reaction!

I'd argue it's not a spoiler because when we all watched the show live, when the news broke that there was a recast between seasons, it was all over the internet. So we went into each season knowing a recast was coming. But when you watch it back to back like you guys are, you really don't have any warning. There's only one recast remaining that I can think of, but I don't want to say if you don't want to know.

She is already becoming the the Queen of revenge, just look at how she shoved Polliver's own words down his throat, literally, when she reclaimed her sword and used it exactly the way he did when he killed her friend.

Aside from the starks I think I like Tyrion and Brianne the most. Bronn I like just because he's 100% Bronn all the time. No chill. There's an honesty to it. Oberyn too, he's got no chill and doesn't back down from even Tywin or Cersei. Say whatever else you like about George R. R. Martin, but say this. Say he writes a great character. As we come to the middle of the show you see more personal story arch's reaching their zenith and that is why I think people like season 3 and 4 the most. This is the cream for sure, but who will rise to the top and who gets churned?

Also good job knowing the sword at the very beginning was Lord Starks sword Ice. That’s the sword he used to decapitate the nights watch runaway in the pilot episode.
