In the comics Peter became Spider Man when he was a sophomore in High School and in the comics he had no friends until his freshman year in College that’s when he first meets Harry.

2023-12-27 04:35:13 +0000 UTCWhether it was Andrew's or the director's choice to play Peter darker and more brooding and isolated, idk. But for me, Andrew has the acting chops to pull it off. Tobey and Tom had more time to evolve the character in a lighter way. I do agree with TC24 about the 1st "Spider-verse" film before "No Way Home".

2023-12-27 00:06:31 +0000 UTCI really love andrew garfield's spiderman and it's mostly down to the chemistry with emma stone, she killed this role and their relationship makes this feel so down to earth and there is a lot of heart to the story. They are easily the best actors in all of the spiderman movies imo you'll see after the 2nd movie even more so. The peter and mj love story in the original trilogy was just kinda silly and annoying most the time.

2023-12-26 23:50:46 +0000 UTCGwen was actually Peter’s first love before MJ, she was created first by Stan Lee and was based off his wife & Garfield didn’t get a 3rd movie because the 2nd one just didn’t make enough money…also Idk if it’s already been said in the comments but y’all gotta watch “Spiderman Into The Spider-verse” after the next Garfield one, it is easily the best Spider-Man movie in my opinion.

He acted how most people would if they had powers and their uncle got shot by a criminal. Although im glad tom holland is the one in mcu because with all the tony starks and dr stranges and steve rodgers and black panthers, im glad theres a bit of light heartedness in the mcu aswell. Andrew woulda made the whole experience a bit dimmer
