Jake is one of my favorite actors and my favorite Jake movie is October Sky! Any Spiderman fan knows that Mysterio is a villain. Honestly never used to think of myself as a Spiderman fan before, but I do know more about Spiderman (by reading Spidergirl comics) than any marvel comics except X-Men.

He may not always know where the danger is coming from, which is why sometimes you see him stop and look around or seem to anticipate when someone throws something at him from behind or throws a punch and he's always a split-second ahead of the danger hitting him. This is why Mysterio is such a unique villain that Spider-Man is especially suited to deal with because he can ignore the illusions and let his spider-sense tell him where the real danger is. Peter didn't memorize where the drones were in the last faceoff with Mysterio on the bridge, he closed his eyes so they wouldn't deceive him and only trusted his Peter-Tingle...uh, I mean spider-sense. When I say the sense is on a biological level, I believe they established in the comics that it's somehow connected to his nervous system. Basically his whole body tells him, "Something is coming. Get ready!"

2023-12-04 06:30:45 +0000 UTCI'm only about half through, so I don't know if you figure it out later, but there's multiple technologies at work to create Mysterio's illusion tech but the main 2 are the holographic projection system (BARF) that makes realistic 3D holograms and the Stark Tech drones, which do the actual damage with their weapons. They can cloak themselves and do damage while the projectors mounted on them create the realistic visuals.

2023-11-30 18:40:02 +0000 UTCLittle nerdy comic knowledge: Eugene "Flash" Thompson, the guy who is making fun of Peter all the time, actually becomes Agent Venom in the Comics. In the comics he was a college mate of Peter and disrespects him as well. So the character is similar. Question if they make Flash a real character at some point or if it is just a funny little detail for the comic nerds. In the comics Agent Venom is the result of a SHIELD program with a venom symbiote and he has similar powers like spiderman.
