The older man who was also at the small council meeting? That's Grand Maester Pycelle. The maesters are an order of scholars, healers, messengers, and scientists who assist the noble men and women of the realm. There's a maester in essentially major city. But their order is all over the world, not just in Westeros. You'll learn a lot more about them later on. But Maester Luwin is the one in Winterfell who you already met a few times. And the one in Kings Landing (Pycelle) is titled "Grand Maester" because he serves the King.

One person to add is Renly Baratheon (you met him in the first small council meeting when Ned arrives to Kings Landing). Renly is King Robert’s younger brother.

I don’t think or hope I didn’t spoil anything just the names. I’ve the this series once or twice but love seeing new reactions…. Kinda makes it like my first watching it with yall
