Timelapse video: "Flight of Spring"

Hi patrons! While episode 29 is still in production (storyboard is done and dialogs almost stable, drawings/inking starts this week), I took the time to derush the eight hours of videos recorded during the creation of the recent illustration "Flight of Spring": an illustration I made for the new homepage of the Pepper&Carrot website. I added caption on the corner of the video to comment the key steps. I hope you'll like this video! (Note: the video will be soon mirrored on Peertube too: check  https://peertube.touhoppai.moe/ )

Next 'Production reports' will soon move to the blog:

I haven't posted new reports here since the release of episode 28 because I went threw a lot of changes and refactors ( I also suffered a combo of small seasonal sickness in February). In a nutshell: I merged the blog of Pepper&Carrot and my blog to recentralise all the content I created here on https://www.davidrevoy.com/blog (full details on the blog post: "The big Merge").

One of the change I have in mind is to use now my blog for posting the future production reports (reserved so far for my patron +3$). The content of this reports went from a simple quick paragraph to full and long making-of over the years... Reports are a precious tool to connect with the community and tell to all the visitors the current progress on the production. Also, because the Extras (video/tutorials/articles/brushes) were always totally open and free to access, why not 'productions reports' too?... It will be more consistent with my philosophy to have no-paywall on the project even if it make me sad to discontinue this little exclusive 'special thanks' reserved for my top supporters here. So, next report will be posted on the blog (you probably already follow it via social networks or via RSS I guess, but I prefered writing a note here). I'll keep reposting here the links to new blog post if you follow my work via Patreon.

Thanks again for all your support on this journey!

Thank you for the feedback! (and very true, I love spending time on drawing face and expression)

Thank you for the invitation into your painting world - I like how much time you spend on her face, even though it looks relatively simple, compared to the time you spend on, say, the background (o:

A big thank you Olivier! I hope you had a good Sunday at Caramanga. ;) Thanks again for the invite.
