Weekly news 2018-07-09: Video Timelapse, Renderfarm optimisation and inking

Hi Patrons!

Last week started with optimizations for the renderfarm: changing the code was a necessity (44 languages now, 34GB of files online) and I'll move soon (end of August) to a new place with a slower Internet. I'll skip the technical details of what I did to just tell the result: the whole process is faster (x2 and a bit more) and more secure now. I spent the middle part of the week on a timelapse video you probably saw. Reducing 25h of work recorded into 7min was a challenge. I was really happy to work with the Creative Commons musics of Fabian Measures, and the editing in Kdenlive 18.04 appimage was really a smooth process. You can see the result by following this link:

... and then the last part of the week was full time on continuing drawing episode 26. Here are screenshot about the concept-art of a funny warrior, screenshot when I sketches the panel and screenshot when I apply my 'painted line-art'.

This week, I'll continue the same process. The ideal timing would be to start coloring next week and I'm working hard to reach this step by the end of week. Thank you for your support !
