Chapter 08 progress & plans for May!

Hello my gemlins~~~

I am happy to report that chapter 08 production is finally in full swing!

The script gave me so much trouble, I hadn't been able to finalise even a single episode for like three weeks, but then last week I wrote the entire final script all in one day o _o)
I guess sometimes the brain just needs more time to figure things out. Part of me is of course mad at myself because those three weeks are now gone and missing from my schedule, but the other part of me wants to just accept this happening occasionally as part of the job. I can't force the creative aspects of comic-making, not unless I accept delivering mediocre results by forcing progress, and as I've said many times before, I don't want to half-ass anything. I'd rather just shift focus to something else (like illustration and practise sessions) until the creative juices are flowing again :)

Maybe this mental break was just needed! And I feel good about working on the episodes now~ I sketched the pages you can see above in like 2 days, which brings me to my plans for this month:

🔹 In order to be able to start posting chapter 08 for you in May, I want to keep most of my focus on that! I'm aiming for the first episode to be out at the end of the month, which is still on track with my plans for last month :)

🔹 I want to stream again! However, no request this month but instead I'd be streaming comic progress. You can watch me ink or colour some panels while we chat! I recommend you follow me on Twitch if you don't want to miss it, but I'll also post on my socials and here when I go live. Next stream might possibly be at the end of this week, maybe Friday or Saturday :)

🔹 I do still owe you the couple artwork from last month, which I completely forget to post, despite the illustration being finished since the end of March OTL

🔹 There will also be a new couple artwork this month!

🔹 And finally, if time allows I want to write another introduction post to Lost To Time, this time focused on one of the main characters. Not sure yet if it's gonna be Misha or Ayden, we shall see :3
