The writing phase is over for now, I'm about to start the storyboard for chapter 06 but first I needed to remind myself how to draw and that works best with some doodles :') Most of these are referenced from photos!
I experimented a little with layers, style of lineart, brushes and colours, trying to simplify some features to see how it'd affect the end results and to see what I could improve in the future, both to get better art out but also to make things a bit easier for myself. It was good exercise, I feel ready to work on the actual comic again now :')

you're so sweet ; _;)! the merch thing is something i think about a alot, because i know there's demand but i'm not sure yet how to tackle that without turning my tiny apartment into a warehouse permanently π€£ or risking to not be able to keep up with the comic. and i refuse to use sites like redbubble that produce and ship everything out themselves because it feels impersonal and like a quick cashgrab /o\ (not judging the thousands of fellow artists that use it, it's smart and i'm just being a bit dumb about it!! that's strictly personal feelings lol) but i might do some limited runs of various merchandise in the future to see how it goes π

2019-09-29 11:52:16 +0000 UTCto be able to whip out master pieces of perfection like this and call them doodles... so jealous of ur ability and yet unendingly thankful I'm able to witness it π supporting u on patreon remains one of my happier decisions ππ honestly tho u should amp up the backgrounds a bit and sell these as prints cause uhhhh I want one of each to add to my wall π like can I just become ur official print person and I'll pick different pics u do to of them to sell out as prints to ur fans? cause I know you're for sure too busy to do merch a lot but like.... we need merch ππ
