the boys, one year later

for the upcoming pages, i'm going to use two panels from the very beginning of the story! from the very, very first page i ever drew, actually! i even streamed that back then, it was august 22nd 2017 :'3 so the black/white page you're seeing up there is a little over a year old, wtf!! time flies so quickly....

since the comic is in colour now, naturally i had to redraw the panels i needed, and since i'm planning on redrawing the b/w pages anyway, i did the whole page to see how long it would take. turns out, it's not too long, maybe 1-2 hours, because everything is already there and just needs to get traced and adjusted in some cases.

i don't regret switching to colour at all, i think it makes the comic feel much better to read, less "cold" somehow??

also i think it's so strange to see that jasper and kai look younger and cuter now than they did before LOL are they aging backwards..... the curious case of kai & jasper button....!

anyway, i made very good progress today, i drew the lineart for 5 pages and i intend to do at least 2 more! i'm not sure if i can actually finish until sunday like i wanted, but i guess i'd rather take a liiiittle more time than rush it and present you with something half-assed that could look much better ; _;)

i'm doing my best to not make you wait too much longer, though!!!
