He heard reports about Maia, especially since she had trouble getting back from seas from land. So he decided to find her one day and give her a flower. She was very grateful, and nicknamed him CutiePie and offered him a kiss as a reward for bringing her a rose to add to her collection. He fell in love with her and promised her to bring things from the land. He also decided to help people out who are inconvenienced by Maia.
