Added 2017-12-08 17:14:53 +0000 UTCThis isn't the first time Red had to explain to someone what he is, or what fairies are like. It's kind of odd since he himself isn't an expert. He hasn't seen another fairy since he was four.
He doesn't always understand why people are so amazed. He wishes people would see the differences between fairies and nymphs to be as insignificant as Red sees them to be.
It's true fairies are said to be more connected to the Spirits and thus can use magic in a more direct manner, while nymphs rely on potions or incantations and need years of education to succesfully perform a spell. Red doesn't really use his magic...other than to heal his own scratches or bruises in secret. He doesn't want to stand out any more than he already is.
