Added 2022-03-07 19:55:50 +0000 UTCThis was just going to be a one-off joke about a gruff human getting topped by a pretty elf, but I really ended up enjoying the characters and made a cute little story around them. Short version: a human kingdom is ruled by a gormless dolt of a king, so his ministers (who don't trust each other) choose a no-nonsense military man to lead negotiations with the elf king. The negotiations go very well! Other things go very well, too.
