Now it's Vex's turn to put off crime stuff in favor of making Liam try on pants. Bonus shot of a quick gun design so I didn't have to keep redrawing it.

Magical Boy and Villain ref

Because I also got tired of looking up THEIR costumes every single time. The magical boy's second outfit is the one he wears once he joins the villain in sexy sexy evil. He also grows his hair out!

I was going to wait to finish this before I posted it, but it's sat there in the sketch stage for weeks, so uh, clearly that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I had zero ideas for mermay, but then I remembered that sea snakes were a thing. Thumbnailed it two days ago, then sketched it yesterday the instant I was well enough to draw again (10pm art go!). I am very tired and I make great choices!

Vexes!

I'm finally putting together a ref sheet for Vex so that I don't have to look at 15 inconsistent illustrations every time I want to draw him. (I will still probably draw him inconsistently.)

I also drew Liam trying to concentrate on crime things and getting distracted by Vex's hair in a ponytail.

May Updates

So, things in my country are not going very well right now!!! It's very hard to draw when lots of stuff is on fire, so I am trying to just ink some old drawings and not freak out. Hopefully I will have some of those inks to show you all later today or tomorrow.

At least the weather is nice 🙃

March Suggestion Box: The Return of Alpha Squad, plus More Elf and Emissary

Once again I resume my quest to give you severe tonal whiplash!!! First up, yet another member of the elite space marines of Alpha Squad has gone AWOL to play with a trio of alien friends. Next, the elf king dreams of ruling side-by-side with his warrior husband, while the emissary has a slightly softer future in mind. Plus a bonus pic of smooches!

I drew these a bit small, so unfortunately the resolution doesn't get any higher. :T However, I'm hoping to swing back around and finish at least a couple of these in high-res color.

It’s April! Oh God!

Hi everybody! Just a quick update: my husband had major surgery a few days ago, so I am going to be running a little behind until he’s further along in his recovery. I should be back on track by the end of next week!

I still have a bunch of requests to finish, and I am also working on the Easter bun pic for this month. Thank you all for your support!!!

More Bunnies and More Vex

It's been a big drawin weekend! Over on the Easter pic front, I have decided to go with a nice bunny and his himbo hare boyfriends. I'm going to finish the first image for Easter, but I also like the second one a lot so I'll probably clean up the lines on it as well, maybe throw in some flat colors so you can actually see what's going on.

Meanwhile, Luca has contracted a virus by downloading animations for his LED tattoos from sketchy websites. Again. 

Easter Buns

I've spent the last few days trying to decide on something cheeky (lol) to draw for Bunny Day! So far, I haven't really come up with anything I like enough to finish. Here's one of the sketches that went pretty far before I decided I didn't like it.*

*My reasons for not liking things are entirely arbitrary and decided by forces far beyond my control

I still have a couple of February suggestion box stragglers to finish, but dangit, all the March suggestions have been REALLY good so I did jump ahead with this one. SpidersFace wanted minotaurs, and minotaurs ye shall HAVE.

Tales of Ribaldry, Chapter 2

Andre and Philippe again! I wanted to draw fancy clothes, and they are my fancy clothes boys.

I used to hate drawing or designing clothes--all my characters wore jeans and t-shirts, and they were naked a LOT of the time. Then something flipped in my brain, and now I have to remind myself that drawing guys having sex does generally require SOME level of nudity.

February Suggestion Box: A pile of Vex

A bunch of people requested Vex last month!! Oh, how terrible for me!!!!!!

The three fake screenshots are not necessarily from the same situation (Vex's operations go awry often enough for it to be worrisome), but they very well could be. Also please note that Vex has put cat magnets all over the stainless steel cabinets, and Liam is using a cat mug. Transformation to cat dads complete.

I unfortunately drew these VERY small, so this is as big as they can get. 😭 HOWEVER, I am planning to finish most (if not all) of them in color.

And THAT'S how you make a treaty

This was just going to be a one-off joke about a gruff human getting topped by a pretty elf, but I really ended up enjoying the characters and made a cute little story around them. Short version: a human kingdom is ruled by a gormless dolt of a king, so his ministers (who don't trust each other) choose a no-nonsense military man to lead negotiations with the elf king. The negotiations go very well! Other things go very well, too.

Robot Fighty Man: The Return

I have been puttering away at this off and on, and I am finally very happy with the design! Will I ever draw the wings again? Probably no. Am I already thinking about  a version with kitty ears and a mechanical kitty tail? Very much yes.

January Suggestion Box: Sphinx

When your sweet himbo friend wants to pose like you're in a Frazetta painting, you can't help but humor him.

Adriana asked for a sphinx, and, well, this idea popped into my head and would not leave. It is, uh, a TOUCH overboard for a sketch. 

After this, I've gotta move on to the February sketches, which I will hopefully be able to keep more reasonable (unlikely).

And yet so far--! Flats are FINALLY done, and I've started to block in the lighting. I also rendered the liquids for uh, scientific purposes.

I am trying REALLY HARD to finish this before I do anything else--if things go well, I'll finish it this week, and then knock out the requests from January after that. AND that should bring us near the end of the month, at which point I'll need to start doing the requests for February.
