After a few weeks of work, it's finally done! This took me a fair bit longer than I expected, but it also works a lot better than expected

This video was an amazing roller coaster. I started out very skeptical but…holy crap that was cool at the end!

Edit: out of baltic birch plywood.

Speaking of 3D-printing, for a project idea: get a CNC router (cutter?) and make plywood cabinets or closets or something. With funky joins.

This is amazing! Just out of curiosity, how many trips to the local hardware, home depot and harbor freight did this project take?

I loved this video. Not only because you're ridiculously silly, which I love, but because you left all the mistakes in. Mistakes are at the heart of making, and showing them alongside the successes is a good choice!

What an incredible job on this! Can't wait to attempt my own version. Thank you for sharing

I can scoop out the dust with a scoop, but a more convenient way is to use a small dust collector. I happen to have a second small dust collector with no bag that I can use to suck on the dust bin and spread the shavings over a spot in the yard to act as mulch

I just daisy chained 2 of these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363285374099

Hello Robert, congratulations on a job well done, that was hack of a journey 👏🏻. A silly question since I had never done any woodworking myself, how do you empty the large sawdust bin? It’s on casters so rolling it around is no problem, but I can’t imagine myself lifting bin and emptying it once it’s full.

It does! The larger side of the bin has much larger particles. The small side is mostly fine dust

Mr Dunn, did you happen to notice if the dust collector sorts the material in terms of particle size like the commercial version?

Nice work!

No wonder you need a fancy dust separator! Did you see how much dust you created making that fancy dust separator?
