This is a tiny, plastic, electric car from 1975. This is a car with just 3.5hp from a DC motor and a 48V lead acid battery pack. The top speed is something like 25mph, but it's licensed as a regular car. The accelerator pedal does not control a speed controller. Instead, motor speed is controlled by what is essentially three relays, so it's an on-off switch with three speeds. It's ridiculously awful, but they made over 4,000 of them.
A full video will come of this thing when I go back to film this car later this year. The owner of this also has an HMV Freeway I'll be filming, which should also prove entertaining.
