I'm going to suggest a movie that is not a big budget Hollywood movie, rather a project very dear to the hearts of LGBTQ + advocates. Written and directed by Michelle Leigh who is actually a nurse in Portland area. The movie is called "More Than Only". After the movie they made 9 short episodes that extended the movie. Check it out.
