The library path.
Initially, the plan was to have your MC hired as the night shift librarian. The idea was so you'd have time to research and poke around the west wing of Thurman without much attention.
But I just... don't think that makes sense.
Rambles incoming -
*It's pointed out that Vardah is up all night anyway, so why wouldn't she be the night librarian once you're there to cover the day shift?
*Having your MC work during the day allows me to get Nadia into that route more often. Initiates aren't disallowed from wandering at night, but it'd be suspicious - especially with Nadia. She is already watched more closely than anyone else. It seems unnecessarily risky to have her gallivanting.
*MC working during the day means breakfast/dinner with the Inner Circle is more expected, so if you're late or skip it, the others will take note more readily.
*Vardah visits the MC's cabin at night. This wouldn't really make sense if your MC isn't there, ya know? What's the point if there isn't someone to watch? 🙃
*Less importantly, the idea of MC working night shifts makes me sad, lol. Plus, it seems cruel to make MC work nights and be exhausted when Bug visits.
Anywho, just wanted to ramble about it a little. Whenever I do the library route, I'll rewrite the previous chapters to reflect the change :)
