Vardah SFW Alphabet

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Vardah is highly affectionate with friends and lovers equally. She will attach herself to your hip if you'd let her.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

The friendship would be amusing but tiring. Vardah is always ready for something new and interesting to happen, so she's the most likely to pull you into Shenanigans. She will always try to focus on your comfort, but she has many thoughts spinning through her head. She gets more distracted when you're near the woods.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Vardah will wrap herself around you like a blanket, use your body as her personal lounger, and trap your legs with hers like roots.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

In theory, Vardah knows how to do all the stereotypical housekeeping things, but not so much in practice. Vardah's suite is always in a rotating state of tasteful disarray. As for settling down ... She is special and needs someone as special as her.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

This would not happen. She will not partner with someone unless she knows they will be dedicated to her as deeply and thoroughly as she is to them.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

She knows it's you the moment she sees you. She knows you are the link - she will do anything for you. To make you see her, know her, want her.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they physically and emotionally?)

Physically, Vardah can be soft and sweet if that's what you need. She can also be rough and demanding if that's what you want.

Emotionally, she is nothing but gentle with you. With others, though, she has a dark streak that can make her sugar-sweet voice poisonous.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Vardah loves hugs. She would drape herself around a friend or partner all day if possible.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

As soon as she knows that you're ready to hear it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

She doesn't get jealous because she doesn't need to. If you're bonded, you're bonded. She trusts you completely.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they want to be kissed?)

Vardah's everyday kisses are playful, lingering before finally pulling away.

She loves to have her fingers kissed, as well as her neck.

She likes kissing your inner thighs, the bend of your elbows, and your jaw.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Vardah has the same wide-eyed fascination as a child, so she gets along with them on that kinship alone. It's strange, though, how the Initiates (adult and child alike) are more nervous around her than anyone else.

She adores Bug, and Bug adores her. They seem to have their own private language.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Alone. She walks the grounds in the predawn hours and until breakfast. After that, she begins her shift in the library.

If you're partners, she'll slip into your bed around seven and curl up until you wake.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Either going into town for minor mischief, sharing a bottle of wine with you at the cabin, watching cartoons with Bug, or participating in any community activity.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Vardah is open and communicative about the things happening around her but doesn't express her deeper feelings. Not at first. 

She will drop vague pieces of information until she's sure you're ready. Until she knows you will wholly accept her. And then, you'll learn everything.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

She is very patient until someone breaks decorum in a way that cannot be ignored. Hers is a cheerful but dangerous brand of anger.

Q = Quizzes (How much do they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or forget everything?)

Vardah remembers everything.

Her brain has many memories, so it may take her a moment to refocus her thinking - but she never forgets.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Vardah is very physically protective. If a legitimate threat arose, she would immediately step in. If she believes you can handle yourself, she'll hang back and keep a close watch in case the situation changes / you need her.

Emotionally/mentally, she will always offer support - but she trusts you to ask her for help if needed. She won't coddle you, but she'll stand beside you and help no matter what.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

She puts all of herself into her partner - these days are no different, though she does tend to over-decorate and sing more when it's a "special" day. She especially goes all out on Bug's birthday.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

The Initiates think she is dangerously unhinged - she plays this up around them because she thinks it's funny.

She tends to Stare. Intensely. While she's lost in thought. Sometimes a too-sharp grin joins the intense stare.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

She doesn't put much effort in; somehow, she is always flawless. She doesn't sleep, but there is never any indication of that on her visage.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

If you've become entangled? Yes. Desperately.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

She doesn't like wearing clothes the majority of the time; most fabrics make her itch. Because of this, Vardah has asked Deerly (on many occasions) if the campus can be 'clothing optional.'

Since she has to wear clothes, she wears absurdly stylish outfits in protest.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Abusing nature. Abusing animals. Abusing children. Basically, being a hateful, harmful dick.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

If she has a partner, she prefers to wrap herself around them while they sleep. She thinks she can hear her partner's dreams sometimes, but there's no real indication that she can.
