Reporting again

Hello!

Let's start with the bad news: I haven't resumed work on HS Tutor yet. But don't worry, one of the advantages of taking a break from a game is that when I come back, I usually have much better ideas for the new scenes. I'll ensure that Pamela's sexual progression with the MC is interesting, as well as all interactions with Angela. This will include an investigation by the principal, during which she begins to uncover our protagonist's secrets. I'll make sure it's all fun and sexy, too.

Now about Honeymoon Island. Yesterday I noticed a "small" mistake. The protagonist of the game had two different sets of eyebrows, one on top of the other. It took me four updates to notice this problem, partly because the protagonist is almost always wearing sunglasses, and partly because I have selective blindness to male faces (lol).

Notice the protagonist's right eyebrow. There are clearly two different types, one on top of the other. It may be difficult to see here because Patreon automatically resizes images, as far as I know, but it's clearer in the full image.

Seeing this amateur mistake, I thought, "Holy shit, I'm going to waste several hours that I could be spending on scenes with the girls correcting this guy's eyebrows", but luckily for me, there were only 14 images in the entire old versionf of the game where the MC wasn't wearing sunglasses. In addition to these, I had to redo another 14 new images. In total, it took me only 3 hours to fix the problem.

Above is an example of a rendered image that has been fixed. A side effect is that the protagonist's eyebrows became much thinner after it was fixed, but I didn't worry too much about that.

Still on Honeymoon Island, I'm finishing chapter 33 now, where the MC has sex with Angela standing up in the gazebo in the middle of the night. He then pushes her against the wooden fence and fucks her harder from behind.

And finally, there's Solvalley School. I made an important decision about that game: it's time to finish it, once and for all this time. So I decided to attack the game on two fronts:

1. finish all the incomplete scenes

2. redo all the worst scenes in the game

Among the incomplete scenes, there are some from the "solo" mode, such as the one where Alex meets the three teachers on the beach, meets Milena and her mother, has sex with all the mothers at the school, the scenes with Floyd's sister, etc. But there are also a lot of "sharing" scenes, such as Kirk + Ruzena, Kirk studying with Lucy, Anastacia + Floyd, the alternate version of the school dance, among others.

Regarding point 2, I did an initial screening to see the worst scenes that will need to be redone. I'm not going to redo all of them as I had planned before, but I'll try to make the most aggressively ugly ones more tolerable. Among the scenes I'm fixing are those with Anastacia and her sisters, the one where Alex meets Sarah on the beach, some with Milena and Lucy, among others.

In addition to redoing the images and animations, I'm improving the way the scenes flow a little. For example:

The trashy image above is part of the second scene at Anastacia's house (by the way, her name is really spelled with a "c" instead of an "s", and the reason is explained in one of the Christmas specials). That image is replaced by a series that gives a better idea of continuity:

But you must be thinking now: "Don't waste your time with Solvalley, do HS Tutor!" And I agree with you. That's why I'm working on Solvalley in my free time. Then someone might say: "You lazy bastard, use your free time for HS Tutor", and in that case, I have no answer...

I think that's it. I'm still dealing with some family issues, but as I mentioned in another post, my brother has taken over most of the responsibilities I had previously, and I have plenty of time to work. As for predictions on when the games will be ready, I don't have any yet. I'm just going to keep working at this same crazy pace for now, and when things start to take shape for an update, I'll let you know.
