[AD FREE] Stavvy's World #125 - Mark Normand

Dear friend of the show Mark Normand returns to the pod to discuss being a dad, why having a baby is like being JLo’s assistant, getting bullied as a child, Biden's new entertainment career, phone FOMO, Kevin Hart, clones, and much more. Mark and Stav help callers including a woman who is disillusioned after learning that the artist-professor that she works for is having an affair, and a fit guy who wants to help his wife feel more secure in her post-pregnancy body.

Because as a student in their class your professors would have to tell you when they are having affairs. Haha

As a person who has had many years of formal art education, I'd like to let you know that the only professor who seemed ready and willing to bone was an english professor. Just, you know, fyi. Art guys are not more likely to engage in any more fuckery than anyone else. Most of them are regular ass married people, they're not even weird like people imagine.

I really needed to hear that "breadwinner" lady's call and y'all's response. I'm in a better situation in many ways but I completely understand how this caller feels and I'm much older. One advice I would give to her: it is annoying but you will have to direct the chores until your guy can learn to how and when to do them. If you're both "traditional," I'm guessing his skills are lacking and you are unconsciously taking on the lion's share of domestic work because at some level you don't trust it will get done well or at all. I wasn't raised "traditional" at all and I still had this happen.

Such a good episode. The political commentary is actually comforting cause it's almost unbiased lol. Also looove the rounding up of the sahcler family 😂
