No audio after half episode guys!

Ricardo Escobar

The surf teacher is probably "abusing" people in the sense that out in the water he yells at dick heads that aren't taking turns. Most instructors are like that

ManOfSauce

"Wahhhh these callers on this episode is boring" none of you have interesting lives so you are latching onto the lives of others via a comedy podcast! It's ok

hrtzgod314

25+ on the phone calls and problems

AJ Earls

Stavvy and Eldis - you guys went deep on the first caller. Great advice for that guy.

Patrick Rooney

It's funny about the 18 year old, but I actually have seen a Alexander shulgin favorite popping up locally in Portland.

Nick Laramie

Hahaha my dudes talking about getting taken advantage of. My brother in christ you're about to start your phd, get used to it. It's the wild west. I'm done with this hell in 49 days and it robbed my twenties from me.

gia

These episodes are bangers regardless of the callers, some are more interesting than others but todays were more relatable, genuinely y’all give such pragmatic advice and still keep it funny 🙏

kevin fernandez

My only monthly subscription🫡🙏

Man lmk if it’s not I’m trying to see myself

GhostofGon

dc comic drop your @ !!!

cris

Interesting that Ian fidance is hustling his friends w rent

Dominic Munoz

Also prescreening the calls. Not sure if they have to send in a tldr of their issue but that would help balance the number of snoozers in one episode

Zach Barillaro

This better be worth 5.60$ you fat bastard

RomBergundy

18 year olds are impossible not to roll eyes at.

Indy Converse

This episode proudly brought to you by the word “autonomy”

nipolass

Also chem is a hard major and not being able to get into state school is a huge red flag. Might’ve just been a dumbass and slacked off in hs but he’ll have to turn it around and it won’t be easy

PigBenisDynasty

Just some feedback, i dont know if the lads actually read this, but I think that getting through more callers in an episode is the play, especially when nobody is particularly interesting like in this one

G C

Hey Kroger brand Walter white, bark extract DMT synth is as much chemistry as baking cupcakes is so dose yourself with a little humility. And don’t sleep on English; technical writing is as important as good scientific execution for communicating results to peers and sources of funding. Also get a realistic assessment of chemistry career options: my sense is that pure chem can have a tough time outside of being a petrochemical industry cog in the machine.

RT

Great episode. You guys did some incredible work with these fellows!!

Podcastfan

“You guys seemed to like the Sydney episode” - Stavvy The comment section is trashing sydney 🤣 definitely think mateo will be 50x better

Justin Lemke

Weakest group of callers in awhile.

As someone that worked while attending community college, transferred to PSU and now works in a lab - I promise you're more stressed than you need to be. So many community colleges in the area have a pipeline program that tells you exactly what credits to take at the community college to transfer seamlessly to PSU. Plus, your counselor will work on all of this with you. I thought I knew what I wanted when entering community college and it definitely changed by the end of my time there. I'm so thankful I found that out before transferring and paying much more for the same credits at PSU. I ended up staying at the community college longer to get any credits I possibly could at that low cost and only went to PSU for a year. Working while going to school is also doable, there are many basic courses online, during weekends and nights at both community college and PSU. Classes that require you to be in the lab don't have to be taken right now. Save up, go to community college, work if you can, and take it slow. You don't have to have it all figured out right now. You could even do a few terms and then transfer to PSU, you don't have to go the route I did. I do recommend working even part-time while going to school. It's incredibly valuable when applying for jobs. There's a big difference in those applying straight out of school and those with work experience. Good luck!

Lynn

I started at a CC, transferred, and eventually got a PhD. You’ll be fine, just get in there, figure out what you want to do (if you already know, great), and it’ll work out. Even CC has advisors who can help with some of these questions (you don’t have to trial and error all of it).

daniel

With as good as stav is at crowd work, I genuinely think this format just works better. The live calls bring life to the show, and I already like the original formula.

Devan Eadens

as soon as I heard his username was "methoxy" I knew we were gonna hear some dumb ass shit

kelan

Don’t buy mats specifically for gyms. They’re marked up a ton. Go to a farm & feed or tractor supply co and get horse stall mats. Same thing, way cheaper per square foot.

Randy

Man second guy is a bozo but wishing the best for him

jimbo_999

Long commute perfect timing of this pod bb

Tate

Stav keep up the good work 💪🏼
