Patrick Replies – The Streets of Fire Episode

Short version: Emma stepped back from a few of her responsibilities on the channel (don't worry everything is good, she just got busy with other stuff), and I had a really busy summer (all that traveling), so we didn't get around to finding new people to work on the Replies videos. At some point I'll probably put up a post looking for a new editor for these so stay tuned for that.
Anyway, if you're wondering what people were saying about Streets of Fire back in June, now you can find out!

Totally late to this discussion and apologies if you covered this but do you think Streets of Fire was in any way influenced by the Howard Chaykin comic book American Flagg! from First Comics? I was a fan of the comic when it came out in 1983 and when I saw the film in the theater, my immediate impression was that it might have been. I am of an age. Also a fan of The Warriors.

2024-09-12 04:59:38 +0000 UTCI had seen "Streets of Fire" randomly on TV some years ago and only half paid attention. We showed it at the Alamo recently and gave it more attention in the theater. It did not disappoint.
