Weekly update - 2nd August. (Some important stuff here)

How is it August already? Another month down, another month closer to my goal of travelling via porn. I'm looking to leave around the end of October, so I actually need to start seriously planning stuff now I guess. I still can't 100% believe this is happening, and again a big thank you for all your support which makes this possible.

Video making update

Samus - Basically done. Waiting on my helper for art to decum a final image.

Fate gauntlet 2.3 - Will be my next video, featuring Jeanne and Jalter. As with before, will be vault access only until all 5 are done.

Futaba dlc - Will be after that. Aiming to complete both this and fate this month.

Voiced imouto video - Trying to fit work in on this when I have spare time. Expect it at some point! Might be really soon, might not be.

Collab video with rogue - Planning stages. You might want to start getting in shape for this one.

Halloween video - Planning stages. Want to start working on it soon as that way a VA cannot fuck it up for me. By the way, if you have any suggestions for VAs go ahead and give me some names. I'm looking for somebody that'd make a good succubus gameshow host.

Going forwards

I mentioned this in the Gamer release post and have talked about it in discord before, but I think I need to change how funding videos works dramatically. In these commissioned videos, I am always getting stuck, either at a writing level or just a motivational one. It's really hard to make these if you're not really into the idea.

This is why the gamer video I just posted only took two days to make, whereas commissioned videos take two weeks. If I wasn't taking commissions I'll be putting out more content, and typically better content imo.

The problem is I also know from the survey that a non-insignificant amount of you (over half) are backing me because of the funding. Considering I'm just about to leave my home and live off this money, that's not something I can justify losing. 

There's also the issue of partly funded videos, I obviously can't just ignore all those. So here are my proposed changes. Any changes will start at the beginning of September.

1: I stop the addition of any new crowdfunding requests.

2: People keep funding videos as they do atm. All funding carries over.

3: Videos will no longer be funded if they hit 100% funding.

4: Instead, whichever video is the highest % funded at the end of the month gets added to the queue.

5: After 12 months of this, then the funding system ends. I'll have something at that point to choose one extra video amongst whatever is left.

Here's a quick example in case you don't understand.

Month 1: Video A is 103% funded, video B is 110% funded, Video C is 80% funded, Video D is 10% funded.

Video B gets added to the list.

Month 2:  Video A is 109% funded, Video C is 85% funded, video D is 50% funded.

Video A gets added to the list.

Month 3: Video C is 89% funded, video D is 90% funded

Video D gets added to the list.

This repeats until the 12 months are up.

Now, I am not joking when I say I really want honest feedback on this idea. You get 12 more videos added over the next year, this gives most videos a chance. It also gives me a pretty stable idea of what to expect, and although it will mean it'll take me a while to 100% get through the backlog, I think it's a good compromise.

But if you hate the idea, please tell me.

After this is all over with in another year, I will be offering patrons to choose between projects that I want to do. I would like to just switch to that system now, but it's not fair at all for everyone who's interested in a partly funded video at the moment.
