Declined Payments - Patreon Issue

Nothing exciting I'm afraid, just some frustrating Patreon problems!
Patreon recently made a change, without any prior warning, that might impact your billing and pledges to us and any other creators you support. As a result of this unexpected shift, some banks have been declining charges or categorising them as potentially fraudulent transactions. There is a chance that some of you could be completely unsubscribed from any Patreon creators you pledge to, and you may not be able to re-join currently.
We want to ensure you're all aware of this change made by Patreon. They have advised they are aware of the situation and are working to fix it. Please take a moment to review your pledge and billing information to verify if this change has impacted you. Here's what you can do to check your situation:
- Check Your Account: Log in to your Patreon account and review your billing information to see if any updates or adjustments are needed due to the recent location change.
- Contact Your Bank: If you notice any declined charges or suspicious activities related to your Patreon pledges, consider contacting your bank to inform them of the recent change and confirm that future transactions will be authorised. You can then "retry" the collection.
- Edit Payment Method: If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. You can edit your payments in the Settings tab, under Billing History (screenshot below).
