Arianne is an arrogant woman. As the youngest child of the previous Witch Queen, she shouldn't have been the true successor. However, her power was so great that she was placed on the throne after her mother's death, ahead of her older sister Seraphina.
She sees her only remaining sibling as weak, and she pushes her around. She disrespects her in front of the court, servants, and the other Realms.
Despite her bad qualities, Arianne is a competent ruler most of the time. She is doing everything in her power to strengthen the witches to stop being seen as an inferior race by other species. She hates the fact that witches don't have a say when another species asks them to create something and that they have to follow the commands of the Demon King, Ba'el.
When I first created the witches, she was supposed to be much kinder and have a strong sense of justice. As I developed the story, the dynamic of Pythonium changed a lot, and everything became more morally grey. I think she is a much more compelling character this way.
What was your first impression of her?

Character Model:
I'm ashamed that I didn't put as much care into creating her character model as I did with most others. I didn't want her to be attractive, but I didn't have to make her that unattractive, haha.
