Gina - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

Gina is a werewolf born into the Crimson Pack.

I think Gina is one of my most well-written characters, with one of the most compelling backstories and evolution throughout the game. However, I have a love/hate relationship with her.

I love and feel for her because of what happened to her. I understand how she could have hoped for years that things would change and that the odds would be finally in her favour. I know how hard it is to make a change after years of inaction and depression. I am proud of her for that and don’t judge her for her lowest.

However, I wouldn’t say I like the fact that she is pursuing Atlas. She experienced first-hand what it is to lose a mate, but she still wants to steal one. I understand her motivations, but in real life, I would have despised her (insert disapproving monkey gif).

But I love that she is flawed and not perfect because that makes her real. All my characters have flaws. She just has the one I can’t stand lol. No worries though, I am still really excited about writing about her journey because I think it is really cool.

Her fight to take back what she has lost. Her fight for Timeo. Her fight for herself. All of that makes me love her more than I am mad at her.

Starting from Realm Three, there will be an optional path to get to know Gina more in detail and to help her grow. I hope you will help her on her journey.

Fun Fact:

At first, I had no plan at all to create Gina. I made Timeo first and thought it would be nice to have a pregnant woman in the harem. So I thought of having a pregnant MILF that would be Timeo’s mother. Then I thought maybe it should be his sister that raised him. However, I was stuck with explaining her pregnancy without having the father around and without her mourning the recent death of the father of her child. So I gave up that idea and decided to make her just a MILF with some extra weight.

In the end, Gina is neither a MILF nor overweight. But ultimately, I am pleased with the version of Gina we have in the story.
