The times, they are tough.

For those that do not know, all of  Sandra and I's spring shows, including our local Rio Grande Arts &  Crafts show, Norman Medieval Fair, and many of our mail-in shows have  been cancelled due to the virus (and who knows how many other future  shows will be canceled?). This is a huge blow to our income during this  time, and I know we are not alone. Shows and events are being cancelled  left and right, and has left many of us who depend on these shows reeling.

So there is that.

 In addition to that blow, we found out (for sure) only a week ago that  the owner of the house we have lived in for almost a decade needs to  sell the house. We have truly made this house our home in almost every  way these last nine years, but in the end it is not ours, and our  landlord needs to do what he needs to do. We now have to move by the end  of April. We have been looking at listings all this week, but so far we  are just not having much luck finding what we need. I have faith we  will land where we need to, but until then it has really disrupted our  lives.

Lastly, Sandra may need to have surgery for a health issue  she is having, which we won't know for sure until after her appointment  next week. If she -does- need this surgery it will have to be after we  have moved so that she can recover properly, which makes finding a new  place—and soon—all that more important.
