Dungeon Huddle: September 2023

This is a BIG Update! So watch the video if you want ALL the details and explanations of EXACTLY how the DC20 RPG Alpha Release will work, I think I have came up with a release plan that everyone will be excited about! Ok lets go!

DC20 RPG Alpha Timeline Update

Last update I said that I would not estimate a time anymore because I keep letting yall down, so here is the best DATA I can share to show yall how close we are! I also will be showing the exact status of everything in the weekly Patron Livestreams (that start back up next week!).

Percent of the Final 0.4 Alpha PDF Complete: 40%

Notes & Edits left to be done: 14

• These “notes” are just things that need little tweaks and adjustments and are all things that I will be showing and talking about in the livestreams as well. Class adjustments, spells, initiative, etc

So now it is just a matter of weeks at this point and you will see the progress be updated weekly now!

Alpha Release Plan

This one is BIG! PLEASE watch the video for this if you have any questions or concerns, but I will try and explain it quick and simple here:

How do I get the DC20 RPG Alpha 0.4 PDF?

There are 2 ways to get it:

1. Bronze Dragon Patron ($25 Reward Tier): All patrons at this level will of course get the Alpha PDF. There will be a single Post here on Patreon that you can go and download it. Anytime there is an Update to the Alpha, the PDF will be updated in this post.
2. Purchase it on the Website for $14.99: If you purchase it through the website you will get updates automatically (for free) for each update to the Alpha PDF.

Why do it this way?

• There are SO many of you that are going through tough times financially and have reached out asking about how to get DC20 RPG Alpha PDF, and trust me, I get it. So my solution has been to create TWO methods of getting the PDF
  • Website Purchase: lets you get it for a good deal, and keep getting updates
  • Bronze Dragon: lets you get early access to the Alpha updates weeks or months before the PDF gets updated on the website, you get feedback polls and forms, along with livestreams… AND you are supporting this project keep moving forward in development.
• There will also be a LARGE amount of YouTubers making content about DC20… and BRAND NEW people will be interested in this new game system… I think it would be a BIG ASK to have those people pay a monthly $25 fee to get to play a system they just heard about. So this will help the community grow and let people see how awesome DC20 is, and then if they want to support us on Patreon, they can.

Bronze Dragon Bonus Content

So then why be a Bronze Dragon?

Bronze Dragons will LIVE updates on ALL Updates added to the Alpha weeks and months in advance! Once the Bard Class is ready… youll get it! Once the new spell list is ready, youll get it ASAP. The Website PDF will get updated over time, YES… BUT it takes time to compile multiple updates together, then get them laid out into a PDF, then post them. Bronze Dragon Patrons will get them LIVE as they are ready.

FINALLY Moving!

I am typing this (and filming the video) from the Air BnB Hotel bed… BUT when you read this… I will be moving boxes into our ACTUAL HOUSE. This will truly help things speed up and get things back to normal. Me and my families lives have been upside down since Gen Con and I can't wait to get back to normal!

Both the Patron only and the public livestreams will pick back up, new set up, new in person session film set up! BIG STUFF

Pathfinder Game

I am sadly no longer playing in the Pathfinder game with the other YouTubers. DC20 is too important and I can't justify spending that time anywhere else besides getting this Alpha out to you all! I made some great connections and some of the other people ended up dropping out at the exact same time.

BUT I have some cool news to replace that with! (see next section)

DC20 RPG YouTuber One Shots

I am going to be inviting ALL these 50+ YouTubers to play DC20 with me. Some of these might even get recorded and be posted online or here on Patreon! But this will be great to show yall the game, and get the word out there to some content creators to be able to show them how awesome this game is!

HUGE Announcement for DC20 and the Channel

Later this month I will be doing a Livestream with a MASSIVE announcement which is the biggest thing to happen to this channel, and to DC20! I can't say anything else but to BUCKLE UP!! Cuz things are going to get Quazy!

Curse of Strahd Campaign Videos

On a different note! I will FINALLY be able to play my Curse of Strahd game again! I have been out of town at Gen Con, then displaced from my house for weeks… BUT NOW I will be home soon and my group will be coming back over to play in the new set up! SO excited to really turn these games into higher production quality streams!

My Real Life Constitution (Health) Update

I keep failing my Con Saves lately…

I hate to end on a bad note… but all this craziness has KILLED ME in the health department. I have been a stressed out SLOB and plan to get it back together once we are in the new house and I can have a schedule again. I know yall are rooting for me, and Ill make sure I take care of myself, it's just been a wild month!
