Side Projects
Added 2019-02-25 10:11:26 +0000 UTCAs most of you know I've been sick for a while now, and while that has made me unable to get much work done it has given me plenty of time to think, and I have come up with an idea for another - very different - game that I would like to try to make. I am however of a split mind in regards to devoting any time to getting a prototype built.
So here is the deal, on one hand with the current income from this patreon the art for Occupational Hazards is severely lagging behind the finished texts, and as such devoting some time to a side project would not in any way affect how long it will take to complete the episode. But on the other hand I feel an obligation to focus my work on the project that all you lovely people are gracious enough to fund.
So I figure I might as well pose the question and hear what you think of it. Would it be okay for me to diversify and spend some time setting up a prototype for a different game? (I expect it would take 1-2 weeks to get it done) Or should I focus on Occupational Hazards and save the side projects for when all the code and writing is done and there is nothing left to do except waiting for art?
(for the record the side project in question does not require any money, it would be a pure code prototype and 100% of the donated funds would continue going towards commissioning art for OH)
