Added 2025-12-29 15:00:42 +0000 UTCHey Patrons, hope you've all having a happy holiday season! A small weekly this week over the holidays, but I do have a little progress to share on grid level layouts. There’s also a new Shattered Secrets this week, with an early look at my plans for 2026.
I've been spending most of my time over the last week relaxing or spending holiday time with family, so I’ve not had much time to do work on Shattered. I did make a little progress on the new grid-based level layout though. It still needs quite a bit of work, but the builder now has very basic support for large rooms that take up 1x2, 2x1, and 2x2 grid squares. I expect to use them pretty sparingly, but it works well for making a suitably large boss chamber:
I think with that tweak I’ve made enough progress to roll the current builder logic into v3.3.2, along with some smaller fixes and adjustments.
