If I knew it would take eight months to produce "a quick update while waiting for Jaina's big update"...

Good new is, I didn't just waited Abbendis' update to be done to work on Jaina's. Her update is 50% to 75% done (depend if I want to add more artworks)

But it is not a post about the future, but the present !

What have I cornered myself into?

Hi. A bit early monthly update.

So. Morgan left. Yes, the guy who dropped Jaina and Gandling assets in a blink and gave a huge speed boost to the project left.

And Howard's back and he's just done with the last Artwork from Abbendis. This is the very opposite of what happened last month!

So I supposed the Alistra-Jaina-Abbendis mega-update is canceled and we're back to Abbendis and Jaina later?

At least I have a good new. All assets for Abbendis' ...

Hi everyone ! We're due for the monthly update !

So, something weird happened. Concerning Abbendis update, Howard is progressing but it is still very slow. But new artist, Morgan (also a pseudonym), is working very fast and very well ! Check out Jaina !

Hello !

I am waiting for the last artwork, so in the meantime I prepared a pre-release build. It includes most of the content for the next update, minus Abbendis' artwork. 

I try to work around Howard's very slow pacing, I am sorry for the very long wait and I hope Jaina's update won't be the same. It should content a lot of new assets but with more artists, the wait should be more bearable. I hope

The new build should be ready for end of June!

It has been a while, I know. It really pains me because I did take long last time and promised I wouldn't do it again, and I thought over how to be much quicker this time. With less assets and new artists, but my main artist Howard was suddenly way slower.

I do not blame him, sometime shits happen. But I have been on the lookout for new talents.

Monthly update

Hi !

It is time for our monthly update, so what's up ? 

Shower : Done !

The shower has been completed and implemented. However I've decided that it was an excellent idea to have a shower scene with Whitemane as well, which will cause a delay. So maybe I will ship the game without that and will release a smaller update unlocking this content.

So far, Abbendis shower is completed and self sufficient, but it is hard to come up with content for Whitemand.an...

Hello everyone. I'm sorry I didn't give any news during February, there just wasn't anything to report

My  main artist, Howard, wasn't answering for more than a month, up to  early February. I was getting worried, but turn out he was just busy with exams, so at least everything's good ! This caused a bit of a delay but hopefully we can resuem to a normal rhythm !

One Year of Scarlet Ashbringer !

Today, it has been one year since Scarlet Ashbringer was released !... On F95Zone. Technically I released it earlier on Reddit but it is the 22 November that it got a lot of attention.

We have a lot to discuss. First, beta is Live !

That means that the new patch, Madness of Hearthglen, will be here soon ! I'm currently waiting for the artworks to implement.

First, about the new build. I still need one more artwork, still under progress, two expressions, but also a character sprite.

One a different note, I started creating some background. Here you can see your own quarter's background... It has a hidden function that I will use later on as more update appear and more content is created.

Hello !

A lot happened recently so here's an update. 

First, our main artist (That I will call Howard from now) got sick. He's better now but with that and the summer break, he couldn't produce much art.

That made me realize I shouldn't count on only one artist for my game. If something happen to him, or if he just wants to move on and do something else, I'm screwed. So I've been looking for more artist.

Some news about how the project is going and what are the plans

The work continues.  The story writting is almost over, and most of the assets are ready. The quest continues at Hearthglen !

I still need a two sprites and an artwork (... An H-scene artwork). I usually consider two weeks per command, but it's been a month my artist has been working on Taelan and he's almost done. So that may take some more time.

Welcome to my Patreon !

Man, it's weird to finally launch my Patreon. Merely a year and a half ago, Scarlet Ashbringer was just an idea flooding in my head. And now we're here, with an actual game. Pretty awesome !

I'm so happy to be able to share my game to you guys !
