2025 Patreon Rewards Survey! | Patreon Poll #72

Hey Patrons! We’re getting toward the end of 2025, and so just like last year I want some feedback about rewards. In this poll I’m asking for a general survey on which Patron rewards you like the most!

The results of this poll will help me determine which rewards are most worth investing time and effort into versus working on Shattered itself. Note that while I may make reward changes based on this, this is an opinion and feedback poll, you are not directly voting for what to keep and what to remove! Priorities may shift based on these results but I am unlikely to remove anything outright. I’ve attached a few extra notes to items that are either historically less popular or which changed in the last year.

Poll Options

This is a multi-choice poll, please vote for all the options that you like, not just for your one favourite! Multiple choice polls have been finicky on Patreon for a while, so you may need to refresh the page/app to verify your choices or vote for multiple options.

Normally poll results only consider gold+ supporters, but in this case all patrons can vote and all votes are equally valuable! I will take a look at voting trends for different Patron groups, of course, but it’s important for everyone to have a say here.

Patreon Weeklies: The core content of the Patreon, a weekly mini-blog post that’s usually about what I’ve recently been working on.

Patreon Discord: A private chat space for patrons and myself. The discord is both a reward for you guys and an excellent place for me to gather feedback. This option has historically been less popular but requires minimal amount of work from me and is a valuable feedback channel.

Audio Q&As: Once a month a Patreon weekly features an audio Q&A, based on questions collected here and on the Patreon Discord. I am most likely to consider some changes here, as this choice has historically been the least popular and is relatively high-effort on my part. I do know a few Patrons really like these Q&As though, so I’m hesitant to scrap them completely.

Loyalty Pins (gold+): After 1/2/3 years of patronage I mail gold+ patrons (who’ve provided an address) a physical loyalty reward in the form of a pin! This reward was changed to be a gold+ reward this year due to rising shipping costs, I have no plans for further changes.

Patreon Alphas (gold+): A little bit of time before an update is ready for beta, I’ll share it here first in a ‘Patron Alpha’ for golden+ supporters.

Patreon Polls (gold+): Once a month there’s a poll that gold+ patrons can vote in. Usually these polls assign a voting weight of 0/1/2 for silver/gold/shattered patrons, and concern content in Shattered Pixel Dungeon, but this poll is a little different. This option has always been a cornerstone of the Patreon, but was surprisingly less popular last year. I definitely don’t intend to axe it, but may continue to make some number of polls ‘lower impact’ feedback or opinion polls.

Shattered Secrets (shattered+): Once a month I make a weekly-style post that’s exclusively for shattered supporters, and usually concerns some longer-term plans.
