Post-v3.2 Breather | Patreon Weekly #330

Hey Patrons, this weekly is mainly just the audio QnA as I’ve been held up on finishing fixing a few last final details for v3.2.5, which is looking like it’ll be the last patch for v3.2.

As I mention in the Q&A, I’m feeling a bit overworked atm mainly due to v3.2 patches taking a lot longer and more effort than I expected. Part of this was the pleasant surprise of the title background coming together faster than I expected from Alex, but also the interface adjustments ended up having way more little problems to correct than I anticipated. V3.2.5 also includes the usual slew of bugfixes following an update, which were delayed from previous patches due to the aforementioned work.

I’m taking it a bit easy right now, but will have some concepting work on v3.3 to share next week, and perhaps some early implementation details in the following weeks. For now though, there’s an audio Q&A attached to this weekly, with timestamps below.

Trinkets were always designed to have more total items as a category compared to something like artifacts, that's why you get to pick between 4 at once. That being said I do agree that there's room for more artifacts in particular, but those items also take a relatively large amount of work to design and implement.

You're making a wonderful game! Regarding artifacts, wands or even rings maybe, i think there is certainly a space to add more, especially since there are only 10 artifacts (CoS and HT excluded) u can find, as opposed to for instance 16 trinkets. More variety in those categories could be awesome!
