Hey Patrons!
Firstly, go read this week’s weekly if you haven’t yet! In this poll I’m asking for your interest in each of the upcoming caves quest environments! The weekly contains a bunch of details about them.
The strength of support for each option will influence which environments I work on first when developing v2.2.0’s new quest!

2023-09-11 19:22:12 +0000 UTCI like them all (A lot!) Maybe the "new" gnoll could be a miner/engineer who can things like make passages (for other gnolls or randomly, thereby messing up your careful plans), or create localized rockfall traps.

2023-09-11 19:19:47 +0000 UTCI think this is a natural consequence of it being more directly rooted in existing enemy types, compared to the other two. I really do want to give the gnolls something more significant than they currently have in the game, as they sort of stick out atm as the only one of the unified enemy factions that doesn't have a significant quest or boss moment (the trickster isn't enough to count).

2023-09-11 19:17:51 +0000 UTCthey're all great, but i like the crystal cave and mushroom forest a lot more than the gnoll encampment personally. the crystal cave environment seems super interesting, and the enemies seem unique and fun to fight against too. i really like the design of the mushroom forest's enemies and boss too, attacking roots in different places sounds super cool! and while i also like the idea of a super-powered gnoll shaman, the gnoll encampment feels slightly less inspired than the other two do (not to say that its bad, i still like it a lot)
