Didnt like it at first. But im a huge Bury Tomorrow fan and i tought the last album was too safe for them.. this is not the case here. Phenomenal album.

2025-05-24 03:31:15 +0000 UTCThe fact that Dan showed us that he can do such a beautiful cleans in couple of songs for the first time ever and then do Yōkai is so crazy it made me laugh. The album is so different yet so Bury Tomorrow with the absolutely gorgeous riffs and breakdowns. Vocals are also better than ever and Tom has evolved so much since joining the band. Paradox is such an fantastic closure as well, it almost has that Silent Planet vibe. That said, it's absolutely a grower album though. It has so many different elements that you don't expect at all like wastelands chorus, which becomes better and better the more you listen to it. And that is coming from a long, long time Bury Tomorrow fan. Hands down their best work and AOTY for me.
