Fallout 1x05 (2024) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Every episode is just so amazing!!!

Vault 31 huh... the plot thickens ๐Ÿคฉ

I'm constantly worried for Norm, it feels like he's already in too deep and that any second now, something will happen.

Lucy just keeps seeing how different things are on the surface, let's see how she'll deal with being in a vault again ๐Ÿคฃ

The story is intriguing, and the characters are so incredibly different. I'm loving every moment of character development ๐Ÿฅฐ

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are amazing!!

Seeing details like the vault number on someone's back is definitely not something that I ever pick up ๐Ÿคฃ There could be a sign on someone's shirt that says "I'm the murderer" and I would miss it. Lucy is learning to adapt, though she keeps trying to see the good in people. She's learning to be cautious though, and it'll be so neat to see what she becomes!! Chet is so great to see. It's exactly like you said, and I love when he tries to play dumb and not look more into it. He's very much scared and a coward, but at the same time, Norm pushes him in just the right way. They are my favourite duo ๐Ÿคฉ

When I have a bit of time this week, I want to lightly edit the VoDs to put on YouTube. Just cut out the intro, outro, break or pauses type of thing. I thought it was a lie but for different reasons! haha I sort of assume that they pretend to not recycle the pip-boys to make it seems like people are respected. It seems like everything is planned, so they probably tell them that everyone gets their own pip-boy and they have basically unlimited amounts, and the vault dwellers just accept that as fact and don't ask questions lol Maybe they even say that Vault 31 creates them or something. I don't think it's a plot hole, but a mistake on Betty's part. She probably wasn't expecting Norm to ask her about his mom. She also probably assumes that Norm won't ask questions or think for himself since the other vault dwellers don't. He'll just accept it as "oh, ok, that makes sense". Either that or she's hoping that he keeps searching for things so she can get him killed. People from Vault 31 are up to no good, that's for sure. People that get too close to the truth are killed ๐Ÿ˜จ

You're playing fallout 1? Do you upload your twitch vods to youtube or anything like that? I don't really use Twitch. Also this ep either has a plothole or a very obvious lie. When Betty said they buried the mom with her pip boy. Buried her where? they don't have cemeteries... they compost the dead don't they? And when someone dies wouldn't their pip boy be given to someone else? They cant have an unlimited number of those things.

You can see the Vault number on the backs of the vault dwellers reflected in the window pane when Lucy and Maximus look into the Vault...๐Ÿ˜‰ There must have been at least two wars. The one we saw in the beginning 219 years ago and the attack on Shady Sands in Maximus' childhood, about 20-ish years ago...๐Ÿค” I was with Lucy there on the bridge, I actually thought for a moment she would manage to pass the other duo peacefully...๐Ÿ™ˆ You just gotta love Lucy for her unswervingly positive way to approach everything...๐Ÿฅฐ Lucy giving the ghoul his vials in the last episode, despite him treating her so badly and her line: "Golden Rule, motherfucker!" is THE Lucy moment in this season for me. She begins to adapt but still tries to stay true to herself. At the same time I feel so sorry for her - her world is crashing down around her more with everything she learns at the surface. I love how the writers play with the buddy comedy tropes in Chet and Norms arc. They put the tallest and the smallest character together, but it's the tall handsome guy who's the comedic relief. He is an angsty pushover that just goes with the flow. Thanks to the sensible acting and great comedic timing of Dave Register he still gains a lot of sympathy points. You can feel he is a good hearted guy who tries to do the right thing. He was raised the same way as Lucy after all. He is smart enough to realize that their little vault world isn't what they always were taught it would be. He just lacks the curiosity and bravery of his cousins. He is so afraid, he just wants to bury his head in the sand and pretend everything is okay (which makes him very relatable), only Norm doesn't let him. Norm is hating himself for hiding during the fight with the raiders. He is desperate to make up for it by finding out why this all happened and stirs up a hornets' nest. I love their dynamic so much...๐Ÿ˜Š
