I know a LOT of people will be unhappy with this episode, but I am perfectly fine with it. I will gladly wait until next season to see the ultimate showdown.
At the moment it really seems VERY one sided. Team Black has a very formidable army of humans and dragons, while team Green has... not that much from what we've seen. I do think that Tyland going across the Narrow sea to get help is good, but I'm not sure how much good it will do.
I know this is the season finale, so we are done with House of the Dragon for another couple of years, but I do look forward to next season. The hardest thing for me now is to not read the book ๐
It's also a shame that Alicent is always too late for everything ๐คฃ and I'm really curious to see what the hell happened to Otto. I was not expecting to see him like that.

I always feel like no matter how many humans are in one army... having dragons easily defeats them lol Having not read the books, I have no idea how different the series is, and what they've changed. I think that's the joy of not having read the books, is that the storyline is basically fresh, then when reading the book afterwards, it's usually a very different story that is more fleshed out. I'm not sure how involved GRRM is with this series, I know he dropped out of GoT halfway through, and I've heard that there are a few more series in development in the GoT universe. I hope he's not spreading himself thin and letting other people too much creative decisions, because I do think his story is very captivating.

They have the Lannister host marching from the West, Criston Cole's Crownlanders are marching up the Kingsroad and the Hightower army making its ponderous progress up the Rose Road. They have the entire royal treasury at their disposal, they control the 3 largest cities in the realm, Lannisport, Oldtown and Kings Landing. Team Black has more dragons, but that's their only real advantage. You can read the book up to about halfway through the "Red Dragon and the Gold" chapter. Its slightly troubling that the show is still trying to justify Game of Thrones' ending, rather than focus on doing its own thing. They've got a long way to go before the Dance finishes.
