New Spring | with Auroraa

2nd stop on our hike in the Angeles National Forest. I was struck by these bright yellow flowers in what was mostly a landscape of green sage brush, tan rock, and white wildflowers. So we stopped to shoot here and this little branch literally bent down and fell off the bush onto her as we shot. It was like a little gift from nature. Such a beautiful moment in a beautiful place.

This was the first stop on our hike in the Angeles National Forest. We were headed for a waterfall, but got so distracted by some of these beautiful vistas that we stopped to shoot at along the way, that we never made it to the waterfall, haha. But who cares when the view is this beautiful?

One of the last stops we made on our hike, near the end of twilight. I love how beautifully haunting Auroraa appears in her poses with the wildflowers and dark mountains in the background.

Twilight | with Auroraa

Went on a beautiful hike at sunset in the Angeles National Forest with Auroraa. We made multiple stops at different bends in the trail whenever we discovered a spot we wanted to shoot at and shot well into twilight. We hiked back to our cars when it was fully dark and the only light was from the stars. It was an evening filled with great conversation and collaboration. This is the first of many posts with the photos from this shoot. Enjoy!

The 2nd set from my shoot on the cliffs above Black's Beach in San Diego with Alaina. The ocean was so blue that day, and Alaina's poses remind me at times of renaissance paintings and other times of a Degas painting.

This was a special shoot for me in many ways. The cliffs overlooking the ocean a couple hundred feet above Black’s Beach in San Diego have become one of my favorite places to gaze out in awe from.
