I'll have to go back and listen to Season 1. I've grown so used to hearing the other version, this one was odd. It makes it even better that it was previously in Clone Wars!!

2023-11-17 14:34:00 +0000 UTCWhen we saw that Echo died, I didn't believe it since we didn't see his body (seeing as Star Wars brings back characters that are supposedly dead). I just thought he was surviving on his own and would eventually be seen again

Do you think he's been alive this whole time and conspiring with the separatists? Also I think that it's definitely appropriate that this arc be clone focused as it was the first new episode to premiere after being revived from cancellation.

Season 2 and onwards used the version you're used to but S1 had this slightly altered edition of the theme, I think they just did that here as a callback to where it all started! First episode with the First seasons music!

2023-11-16 19:57:12 +0000 UTCThe designation "clone force 99" is a direct reference to 99 being the "bad batcher" waayyy back in the beginning. These clones have "desirable" mutations, so they're not normal (hence the bad batch) but are still very effective because of those mutations. All of the clones have been voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, and now he gets to branch out and have very distinct voices for all of the Bad Batch members, so it's still the same voice actor for all clones. He's pretty awesome I love the bad batch theme. There's something about the theme paired with them just wrecking everything that makes me happy. It's very recognizable too which is awesome. Something about star wars music themes is just powerful.

2023-11-16 19:28:13 +0000 UTCSo some time has passed, we're now 5-ish months before Revenge of The Sith. In Legends and Canon, this was referred to as the Outer Rim Sieges. They started 6 months before Revenge of The Sith and went on until the Clone Wars were over.

2023-11-16 16:45:27 +0000 UTCEcho died when you started your post with "Welcome to my denial..." :) It was the Citadel arc with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Tarkin. A ship blew up and we only saw Echo's smoking helmet on the ground.
