Clone Wars Episode 505 (093) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Damn separatists with their better weapons/ships!!

That was not fair at all, but we got to see Anakin (and Obi-Wan) buy illegal weapons to send to the Rebels!

Honestly, Anakin shows us how terrible the Jedi council is.  If only the Jedi trusted Anakin, he would have been an amazing asset.  They shot themselves in their own foot, and I'm just rooting for Anakin even though I know what happens to him.  He has been a joy to watch and such a positive influence for Ahsoka.

At least the love triangle is over now 😨

Though I feel like that will affect Saw a great deal.

Very weird how Lux is going to join the Republic, while Ahsoka isn't as keen on the idea anymore.  But it makes sense, if the options are Republic, Separatists, or nothing (meaning Separatists take over), then Republic makes sense... for now.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Despite not being about the Jedi, this was really great, and what I assume to be the intro to the Rebels series!

(Reminder, please don't confirm or deny if this is actually what the Rebels series will be about.  I am merely assuming, and will find out after I finish Clone Wars 😁)

I like to think when Anakin sees Ahsoka again, he would be more open with her and explain more why he did what he did

I love how that scene was written, with Ahsoka speaking with Anakin and Obi-Wan via holo message. Obi-Wan telling Ahsoka to keep away from battle as much as possible, while Anakin stands next to him with a look of frustration. Then cut scene to coruscant and then Anakin speaks what he was holding in. He did not want to give Ahsoka mixed messages even though he relates to her confusion

I'm increasingly frustrated with Obi-wan. And by extension, the Jedi Order and their rigidity. I can tell you're feeling similar. And so is Anakin. I'm just glad Ahsoka is picking up on it as well. :\

Qui-Gon would have been so great for Anakin. I feel like it would be similar to how he is with Ahsoka, which is something he really needed

Verowak

Oh that's true!! So Palps only has eyes for Anakin 😁Thank you for reminding me!

Verowak

There was one moment back in Season 2 where Anakin brought Ahsoka to his meeting with the Chancellor and he was like "Excuse us Child" and left her outside the Door lol, Anakin's the only one he wants no one else. So Palpatine probably despises any other person Anakin's close with like Obi Wan, Ahsoka and of course Padme, he wishes them gone so he can feel cut off and be reeled in easier

I think Qui-Gon's death really was the beginning of Anakin's fall. He was a bit of a maverick within the Order so would have been more sympathetic to Anakin's frustrations with rigidly following the Jedi code. Obi-Wan is too much of a simp for the Jedi Council to really relate to him. He does the best he can, but in the end is unable to help him deal with all his issues.

I know, but it's still so frustrating to see happen, since the Republic is so corrupt! Poor, innocent Jedi, not able to see the corruption around them

Verowak

What a horrible chain of events, it would be hard to get over Steela's death for sure for Saw. I love knowing what will become of the Republic, so I can get upset over people joining it, wanting something good to come from it 🤣 This arc was great for Ahsoka development, which it feels like we're getting more and more, so I'm all for it!

Verowak

The Jedi code states that a Jedi may never use their power for attack and only for defence, but in this case it wasn't really about the Jedi way. The Republic isn't going to overthrow a legitimate government, and the Jedi are acting on behalf of the Republic's interests.

I kinda like Kalani. He's certainly the most intelligent Droid we've seen. In fact I think he might be the only Super Tactical Droid we've seen in Clone Wars. The death of Steela really hits hard and it's kinda understandable that Saw takes this really hard. The victories in Clone Wars are bittersweet because for now, siding with the Republic sounds great. But we know where this is going because we saw where it leads. Eventually every Republic world will belong to the Empire. I loved the Onderon Arc and Ahsoka leading people and everything she went through here.
