Clone Wars Episode 410 (077) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Hey guys, it's time to finish off the Umbara/Clones Arc!!

I KNEW IT!!  DAMN THAT KRELL!!!!

I'm really glad to see Fives roll high on his persuasion check, and thankfully Dogma didn't just do it himself!

I have to admit, it was great to see Krell in action (FINALLY), he really is a great fighter.

It was so heartbreaking seeing the Clones kill each other 😭though I have no idea how Krell managed to do it.  It seems that the villains are sneaky and just ruthtless!!

I do need to go back and watch the episode with Waxer and Boil, I thought one of them disappeared or was lost, but I might be wrong.

Rex couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger, but I'm happy that Dogma did.  I was expecting either Dogma or Fives to do it.  I feel like Anakin will be very angry when he hears what happened, though I am curious to know wtf he was called back for (it had to be something convincing, since he didn't come straight back to Umbara)  Stupid Palpatine, and stupid Krell!

Good riddance!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

This arc has made me so damn angry!!  Those poor Clones 😭

Season 4 has been extremely epic so far! It really is so heartbreaking seeing the clones kill each other, but it shows us how the Clones are learning and changing how they were engineered. Krell is definitely up there with my most hated villains, the disregard for Clones' lives is just insane. Dogma had some great development, and finally learned to not just trust blindly. I hope we see him in future episodes. I'm very much looking forward to seeing or learning what happens to the clones after episode 3, since they are no longer used by the time Solo/Rogue One comes around. Every clone centric episode is superb, and really shows us how much each of them are different, and how they're changing 😍 Soon enough I'll need to look at all the books/novels/other media that has info between the movies and TV series so I can learn more!!

This is one of my favorite arcs in the series and it's partially why Season 4 is my favorite Season of Star Wars The Clone Wars. I loved several of Fives's and Rex's lines, "Wait! This is wrong, and we all know it, the General is making a mistake and he needs to be called on it. No Clone should have to go out this way! We are loyal soldiers. We follow orders, but we're not just a bunch of unthinking droids! We are men. We must be trusted to make the right decisions. Especially when the orders we are given are wrong!" "I used to think being a good soldier meant doing everything they told ya. 'Thats how they engineered us.' But we're not droids we're not programmed, we have to make our own decisions." It always hurts whenever I watch the Clones killing eachother and Rex comes to that realization running across the battlefield. And the primordial rage reaches a breaking point when Waxer cries and then dies. I hate Krell with a burning passion lol I like that Tup who saw the vines in Season 4 Episode 7 was able to distract and Stun Krell. He's a good man. I like that it was actually Dogma that killed Krell and his genuine anger at Krell for making him kill his brothers. He went on a journey too, from being completely loyal to having his faith shattered and killing the person who he's supposed to be loyal to, who turned out to be a complete fraud, a monster. He probably felt betrayed the most because of how loyal he was. I hope he gets therapy after this. I loved the conversation between Fives and Rex at the end. "What's the point of all this. I mean, why?" "I don't know sir, I don't think anyone knows. But I do know is that someday this War is gonna end." "Then what? We're soldiers. What happens to us then?" It hit even more back then because we really didn't know. The first 6 films and The Clone Wars was all we had. Side note, we recently got a tidbit of information of the Clone we saw from Episode 2 of Kenobi from the upcoming book, Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, coming in November. The Clone's name is Nax who served in several battles in the Clone Wars in the 501st with Rex and Anakin. He fought in the Battles of Christophsis and Teth in the Clone Wars movie and he fought in and survived Umbara. Unfortunately after this he suffered an injury of shrapnel to the knee and was forced into an early retirement, and somehow ended up on Daiyou.

Poor guy! Trying to get everyone to hear him amidst all the noise around them. Desperately trying to save his brothers' lives! 😭

In the end I'm really glad that no Jedi came to save them, but the main reason I wanted a Jedi to come, is so they can see for themselves just how far gone a Jedi can be tempted by the dark side. I'm assuming the Clones will tell people what happened, but it feels like had a Jedi like Anakin or Obi-Wan seen how Krell was, maybe it would make them think. I hope they show how things go down when the Clones have to tell others why Krell is dead.

You want me to ragequit Clone Wars?! 😨

Verowak

Jesus Murphy, that bit where Rex is running through the battle screaming for everybody to stop shooting each other... Gives me chills. :O

I always enjoy watching this arc because people always get so angry (as seen in these videos) and also expect the jedi to come and save the clones. This shows that while they are supposed to be programmed to obey (Krell was correct there), they are also engineered to be adaptable and tactical which is how they defeated Krell. They aren't jedi, but they are still very capable. A lot of development for Rex and some of the other clones featured, Fives specifically.

Rage? Time for a 4-part Jar-Jar arc to calm you down.

🀣They just didn't know it

Definitely best that the clones sorted everything out without Anakin or another Jedi. It still would have been great to see Anakin lose his shit and go on a rampage though πŸ˜‚ There are a few arcs that really stand out, this is one of them!

Verowak

Krell was such a b*****d the Clones decided to begin Order 66 early!

Bucky1138

I too would have liked to see Anakin return at some point and witness what had been happening during his absence. However, from a writing standpoint, it makes sense to put the clones in a scenario in which they would have to adapt to problems and make decisions on their own. This one is one of the most talked about arcs among fans, and rightfully so in my opinion.
