Clone Wars Episode 316 (061) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

This has got to be the most epic arc in the whole series!

I am absolutely loving every single second of it!!

Seeing Dark Ahsoka was great, and I feel like she'll be similar to Anakin in a way, where she won't be 100% for the Jedi, she'll see the world for what it is without rose tinted glasses and blind optimism.

Showing just how relieved Anakin was that Ahsoka is alive was really great.  And the fact that we get to see the force used for healing is a nice change.  I liked that it was used as such in the sequels.

Seeing how the sister acted and what she thought really annoyed me.  And also the fact that we shouldn't hate the brother because it's "his nature" to do these things?!  WTF!

"Oh it's in my nature to kick a puppy, but people shouldn't hate me for it" (I don't do that, dogs are amazing and deserve all the cuddles).  If it wasn't for Obi-Wan, I would really not like the Jedi/good force users.  It is just so frustrating to see what they think and how they behave.   /rant over

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

The final showdown is next episode, probably!!

I feel like she's dual wielded before, but I could be wrong. I want to see how she'll be affected by having died and come back to life. I also don't know if somehow an inkling of the brother or sister's power stayed with her. I'm really excited to see how she develops!!

Yeah at first I thought the brother just removed his hold over Ahsoka, but then it became clear that no... she's dead. This arc so far has given me such anime vibes with power up and just the feel of everything

Very true! No one that has joined the Dark Side has said "I don't need more power, and I don't want to feed into the hatred, I think we should all just be at peace". It takes very special circumstances for someone on the Dark Side to break from that never ending cycle

I never would have thought when I started this series that I'd see Ahsoka actually die. She's a main character! Let alone die and then be resurrected in some chosen one show of force power by her master, who loves her. Incredible. Certainly there won't be any ripple effects of that down the road, right? Also I love that when she's evil she just turns into a total brat. She gets even more... snippy. (Also also is this the first time she's had two sabers?)

Every single time, I always get chills from the imagery of the father, using Anakin’s β€˜s body as a conduit to transfer life from the daughter to Ahsoka. Not to mention the background music as well. Another crazy thing about this arc that the casual Star Wars viewer would not even be aware of is that Ashoka died. Like, not on the verge of death, but dead dead.

This kinda reminds me of the Tale of the Scorpion and the Frog. They ride on a platform together. But the Scorpion kills the frog because it's in his nature. The Dark Side is similar. It is evil and corrupts. You can't really control it. You may think you can but it controls you. As much as the Sith believe that joining the Dark Side frees themselves from what they see as chains and restrictions that the Jedi put on the Force, you essentially become like a slave to hatred and power when you fall to the Dark Side. It's like an addiction. You hunger for more and more with no end in sight.
