Clone Wars Episode 210 (038) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Clone centric episode!!!!!

OH boy this was a good episode.  Exploring a Clone's desertion, and his and Rex having a chat.   PLUS, seeing Obi-Wan, yet again fail to defeat or capture Grievous.  It seems to be getting to him, and we're only in Season 2!!!

It would have also been interesting if the father had been Jango Fett.

I want more episodes like this... so I can make sure that I'm completely destroyed for my episode 3 rewatch ๐Ÿ˜จ

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

One of my top 5 episodes for sure.  I suppose I should start a chart of some kind to keep track ๐Ÿค”

Could not have said it better myself. I really love how Clone Wars is really showing us so much more about the Clones (and in all honesty, this is just season 2, there are way more episodes that will expand on this). I would like it if we see Cut in the future and what happens to him. I don't know it we will, if not, I'm sure there are fanfics about it that I could read to see different possibilities. I'm really looking forward to seeing Rex's development after this episode.

It's weird to think back on Episode 2 and parts of Episode 3 and thinking nothing of the clones, at least that seems how most people think about them. Probably as much concern as for the droids. Then you watch this show and it really humanizes them and makes you think back to the movies and question why you didn't really see them as slaves or "property" and lacking free will. Then after episodes like this you're always thinking about each of the clones we see and what they're thinking. Do they really believe this is what they should be doing? Is anyone questioning where they stand, what their purpose is? And now we know Rex is thinking about those questions both for himself and his brothers. Rex was about to turn him in to basically be executed and at the end of the episode he realizes that he's not a coward, and if anything he's more courageous by leaving and protecting his family and doing what he thinks is right. Obviously we see Rex questioning things, but ultimately he has a duty not just to the republic, but his "family" which I like to think includes Anakin, Ahsoka, and possibly Obi-wan. Will there be a breaking point for Rex?
