Clone Wars Episode 109 (014) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

NO JAR JAR!  Yay!!!  I'm a bit surprised or confused how a Padawan gets tossed around to different masters.  I didn't know that, but I guess it's normal to do so?  Unless it's because of the War that is going on, that would makes sense since Anakin probably teamed up with Obi-Wan in the meantime.

I wasn't a huge fan of this new Jedi, she seemed too overconfident.  That damn prince charming... I knew it.  It felt very weird seeing a non-clone and non-Jedi.  It feels like those are the two kinds of people that are predominantly shown.

This feels like a game of ping pong sort of.  Republic captures Nute Gunray, Separatists free Nute Gunray, next the Republic will have to capture him again :D

Seeing all the clones die is sad for now.  Maybe the Republic can make combat R2 type units to fight for them!  That could be fun to see.

Ooh, just get Anakin to build some since he's a wiz at making droids!  Problem solved. Done.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Almost the end of March.. this is weird, the year is going by too fast.  Do you have anything you want to do this Spring?

I'll be going for longer walks and starting to do some hiking once it warms up enough!

Yes!! I dislike it when thumbnails have spoilers so much and it's hard to completely ignore them :( Qui-Gon would have been so amazing for Anakin, I feel like he would be similar to how great Anakin is to Ahsoka. It's very interesting to see the different beliefs of the Jedi, like you said Qui-Gon and Mace Windu were very different. I have also never seen a tv show or movie have a council of some sort that was overall a positive thing 😂

The thumbnails have been a problem i've had with Disney+ for a while now. Especially some of the banners and series thumbnails too, they are really bad about spoilers. There's no shortage of people both inside and outside the jedi order that question who the jedi really are. Even Obi-wan says it in the movies that the council isn't always right. Qui-Gon was very much a "let the force guide me" type of jedi than the Mace Windu "this is what the council says" type. Another reason why Qui-Gon would've been a great teacher for Anakin. This is something covered both overtly and subtly in the show, how the jedi are perceived, and the ethics of what they're doing.

Ahh, that makes sense why they aren't clones then! My mistrust was correct but not for the reasons I thought lol I'll have to pay attention when I rewatch episodes 1 and 2 to notice that. Then again, now I know more about Star Wars, so it's possible I'll notice a lot of other things upon my rewatches. Even though we know some characters' fates, it's still really neat to see them beforehand. Though there are a LOT of clone names to remember, and I am not great at that. Thankfully Rex and Cody appear frequently enough that I'll remember them, along with Fives and Echo (I'm assuming).

The Non Clones in the unique blue armour are Senate Commandos an elite military and law enforcement division of the Galactic Republic's Senate Guard, tasked with protecting the Galactic Senate and the Supreme Chancellor along with other high-value individuals. As they Pre Date the Clone Army all of their forces are made up of normal enlisted humanoids. In the prequal movies (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones) we saw the Senate Guard who were apart of the elite security force of the Galactic Republic. Their duties were to protect the Republic's Galactic Senate and the Supreme Chancellor. These guards wore blue ceremonial uniforms and robes helping to blend in with the formal settings so think of them as the The Queen's Guards of the Star Wars universe. The best guards would be invited to become Senate Commandos who we of course see in this episode. You may remember the Emperor's Royal Guard from Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith who wore red armour and robes acting as the personal bodyguards to the Galactic Emperor. These Guards are pretty much the successor to the Senate Guards. The Clone Trooper we see in this episode is Commander Gree who unfortunately had an accident in Revenge of the Sith relating to Yoda when Order 66 kicked off. But it's cool seeing him in Clone Wars even though we know his fate in the end.
