FULL LENGTH REACTION* for Rain Man (1988)

The reaction for the first patreon poll is up, and it's Rain Man (1988). I will say, this was my 4th movie that I've seen Tom Cruise act in and it was quite different than what I'm used to. I've seen him in Edge of Tomorrow, Tropic Thunder and War of the Worlds. In theory I've seen Dustin Hoffman in Stranger Than Fiction and Meet the Fockers, but I have no idea who he played so I could this as the first time I see him in a movie.

Thanks for the recommendation! Whenever I see "Runaway" I think Runaway Bride for some reason haha. Runaway Jury sounds like a fun movie though!!

2025-06-19 00:51:41 +0000 UTCI KNOW you would LOVE RUNAWAY JURY, from 2003, a legal thriller film starring John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman and Rachel Weisz. Plenty of action, as well. Dustin Hoffman does a fantastic job in this one, as does Gene Hackman RIP. I hope it’ll get on the list! It’s one you’ll never forget! I loved this movie, Rainman. I always cry at Charlie’s character arc. He still lacks a lot in character even at the end, but it was so nice when he finally came around. It absolutely deserved all the accolades it received. But, just know, EVERYONE hates Charlie…..lol….until THAT point. 😊 It’s a beautiful story and I think at the time, it did raise awareness about autism. Great to watch with you as you cross this one off the list! 😊❤️✌🏼
