Yes, they both have had their powers verified, especially if Donna has been to jail for using them- because at least it would probably be a different kind of jail and different kinds of people would have to catch her. We probably haven't seen an impressive use of the power yet. The hearts around Lucy when she was using her power might have even been visible (and her eyes turned to hearts but they were hard to see). I think they both have a kind of psychic power a psychic could sense and combat. I suspect most kinds of powers were cataloged starting in the mid-1800s, and probably after WWII it became common to test for powers because it would be a national security issue to have homegrown super-beings to defend against the soviets (and also in case they had dangerous powers).

2025-05-13 22:39:39 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to ask... have her and her mother had their powers verified by an outside source? Cause I feel like a woman who looks like that being able to make a man do anything she wants by kissing him isn't really proof of mind control.
