"Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" had amazing visuals, but I think the music for the memorable pool scene is one of the best animation soundtracks in recent years, alongside the nighttime rooftop ballet scene in Acrobatic Silky from "Dandadan" 1x7. In fact, the same composer (Kensuke Ushio) composed the music for both scenes, who also composed the infamous "A Silent Voice." By the way, CSM Reze Arc movie is still being screened in Japan, and for the many fans who are suffering from Reze-loss, original author Tatsuki Fujimoto has drawn an "illustration of Denji and Reze" and is distributing it to moviegoers. P.S. The battle scenes in CSM Reze Arc" and "Jujutsu Kaisen" 3x4 were both produced by MAPPA, and they were so amazing that I don't think we'll see anything of this quality for a while. Of course, if you're looking for non-PvP battle scenes, I recommend the "Rebuild Evangelion" movies.

Minor correction: Denji brought the envelope full of money in preparation for running away with Reze, not to buy the bouquet of flowers. Also I don't think you guys caught it but the song playing while Denji was standing on the car was ED 3 (the third outro) from season 1! Great discussion as always. I find this arc's writing to be masterful in its subtlety, and I didn't fully understand the motivations and feelings of its characters for a while, particularly Reze who came off as a complete enigma to me when I read this arc in the manga (I stopped reading a while ago though). It's amazing how much of that subtlety you guys picked up on after one watch. Few things from me: I would've liked to hear more on the underlying motif of the city/country mouse, as that's quite central to the Denji-Reze relationship. Also I don't particularly want to see Reze alive after the Makima encounter; definitely a great character that will be missed, but I think it takes away from the movie being a romantic tragedy at its core. Excited for more Chainsaw Man!

apologies if there is *noise* in the background of this video! We recorded this during a hailstorm and it was quite loud outside! ^.^
