Chapter 174: Food that Bends Reality

Looking at the breakfast that they made on a pot, the two of them became dumbfounded. Nevertheless, Shiro analyzed the dish with his system. Albeit it is broken, some of its analysis are helpful, more so when it repaired itself more.

"Eh?" Shirou let out a confused voice.

While Emiya is confounded, Shiro couldn't believe that a supposed simple breakfast became this... miraculous thing instead. For some unexplained reason, Shiro's <Perfected>-level cooking skills and Shirou's cooking skills created the breakfast that rewrites reality.

Resisting the urge to cuddle him, Caster replied, "Um. It's been too long since I tasted your cooking~!"

Meanwhile, Saber followed suit behind her and sat down in the kotatsu wordlessly. Though, her face twitched every now and then as a slight blush escaped from her control. Seeing someone call "her" honey feels complicated, to say the least.

What's more, their appearance is almost identical!

The Artorias stopped talking as they heard the twintailed female magus let out a confused tone. Her mouth is wide open while her brain tried to comprehend the sight in front of her. Alas, it didn't work...

"Tohsaka, you're awake."

"Emiya-kun? T-this... What's going on?!" She exclaimed in a high tone. "Why are there two Sabers here?!"

Hearing this, Shirou was about to explain things when Shiro spoke.

Stepping down from the floating metallic disk, he said, "It is what it is. You're not hallucinating, it's real. As to why it happened... Your ancestor's master can travel between parallel worlds, so why find it surprising that she can do so too?"

"You're... right."

Since Rin was caught off guard, her reasoning skills went on a vacation and only came back after she heard Shiro's words. Moreover, there are ancient records regarding Kaleidoscope, the Second True Magic. One of them stated second-handedly that its wielder, Zelretch, fought [The Moon] and defeated it.

Even then, Magicians can still die, a fact made evident when the wielder of Third True Magic "died". In turn, it left the spot for [Third True Magic] open. To be honest, Rin has some thoughts regarding that, but her main reason behind her participation in this war is to experienced what her father had also experienced.

Shiro casted a single [Mental Placate] spell on Rin, afraid of her fainting out of the consecutive shocks in this day alone. With that, her mind cooled down all of a sudden, leaving her in a state of thoughtlessness.

After the thoughtlessness state of hers ceased, she felt that she can enter the state of self-hypnosis without the use of arias; therefore, it's a chantless magecraft in a sense.

Silently, she also sat in the kotatsu together with the other two. Once the two had done readying, they served the breakfast to the table. They also sat down before they simultaneously said:

The moment they  took the first bite, time froze for each of them. They seemingly fell into an illusion whereas they saw varying situations. The flavors exploded in their taste buds, delivering so much information that their perception of time froze.

Looking at the prompts that appeared, Shiro felt surreal. From his memories, they made many arrangements, ranging from the roles of each wife until their stored powers in his Soul Armament. Still, he hadn't expected that his current problem will be concluded by a single dish.
